Community Action Network training seminars are informational workshops designed to encourage participation in the legislative process. Workshops are conducted by the staff of Hawaii Family Forum (HFF) or individuals recommended by HFF.
HFF also partners with the Hawaii Catholic Conference to do training in Catholic parishes. Call (808) 203-6704 if you would like more information about scheduling a training in your parish or vicariate.
The seminar is normally conducted on a Saturday (date is scheduled by the requesting church) from 9:00—12:00.; however, arrangements can be made to address a group on a week night. The seminar will teach individuals in the church community how to turn their concerns, frustration, and helplessness regarding anti-family government policies, into effective confident action that will have a positive impact on their families, neighborhoods, and community.
This seminar will also address current anti-family issues of concern. What are the significant cultural issues that we are currently facing in the State of Hawaii? Can one person really make a difference? How can you better understand the legislative process?
