Along with our community coalition partners, Hawaii's Partnership for Appropriate and Compassionate Care" we support constructive and positive alternatives to physician-assisted suicide and physician?assisted death, including more effective pain management, expansion of services for people with disabilities, better diagnosis and treatment of depression and greater utilization of hospice and palliative care.

  • St. Francis Hospice:  Established in 1978, St. Francis Hospice is Hawaii’s first and largest hospice program, nationally accredited by The Joint Commission. St. Francis Hospice provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual care to terminally ill patients and their families.  
     
  • Hospice Hawaii:  An organization of trained and committed caregivers who bring hospice and palliative expertise to the bedside, ensuring that your loved one receives the highest standard of care.
     
  • K?kua Mau is Hawaii's hospice and palliative care organization, and it is comprised of individual and organizational champions and supporters from hospitals, education, consumers, insurance, long term care and hospices.
