Take Action Against Domestic Violence

During the course of this year, domestic violence has made the headlines in Hawaii’s news. Each year, hundreds of women and children, as well as men, are the victims of domestic violence in Hawaii. Some cases result in death, many in serious injuries. The victims have to deal with the pain, emotion and confusion surrounding the abuse, and oftentimes they don’t know where to turn for help.

The economic downturn, substance abuse, alcohol abuse, stress, broken relationships and hopelessness are some of the reasons for domestic violence.

Hawaii Family Forum would like to encourage the people of Hawaii to be on the lookout for any signs of abuse or domestic violence in your family, workplace and community.
